This was an absolutely fantastic summer day full of great people in the best possible mood. I think we all enjoyed so much… us working in an atmosphere like this and they having so much fun surrounded with pine trees and the sea.

We met Ana and Ivan few months before their wedding day on their engagament session. We had a great connection right away and were sure that the wedding day is gonna be memorable. And it was a very emotional and fun day from start till the end.

Maja & Joe got engaged in 2019. but were able to do the photo session in 2020. They originally planned a wedding for 2020. but due to various challenges that this year has brought, decided to postpone their plans. So it was even more important for them to have an engagement session and to create lasting memories of their love. Together we went to Dalmatian hinterland where we had a really magical time capturing the photos you see in this gallery.

Irina and Serhiy were spending their summer vacation in Dalmatia. They contacted me with the intention of arranging a photoshoot in Split. It was their first wedding anniversary so they wanted to capture their love story so they could, as they say, ‘remember it in the old days when they won’t be in the mood for so much cuddling’ ;). After the photoshoot in the city centre we went to the beach to enjoy by the sea and give a special toast to their love. That’s how these photos were created. We had such a great time that it was honestly hard to leave. Enjoy in this gallery and in the love of this wonderful couple.

Nika and Luka develop photos very often and it’s important for them to have their photos taken in a professional way every now and then. For the photoshoot we planned quite a bit of walking and enjoyed some special places in the nature of Zagreb. We had such a great time that we decided to definitely do it again next year.
I think it’s the most important thing to capture emotions and I am so happy when I succeed in touching my client’s hearts with images of their love.

There are number of coincidences that happened in order for us to be at this wedding. Since we don’t believe in coincidences we somehow knew right from the start that this wedding is going to be really special. Many weddings in 2020. had to downsize the number of guests, so has this one. From the big wedding it was transformed into small and intimate. If you want our opinion it was absolutely perfect. So much love and song from a group of 15 people we haven’t heard or felt in a very long time. They sang their hearts out and the warmth between them was really not descrivable with words. We will definitely remember this wedding.

I can say, without exaggeration, that it didn’t take more than a moment for me to realize how much Ivan and Vanesa loved each other. Their gestures, glances, touches and the atmosphere they create when they’re together reveal the immensity of their affection, so the fact that I would be able to capture their love through photos made me especially happy. The photo session itself was cheerful and playful, even though the weather outdoors was still pretty cold.
After photographing them, once again I caught myself thinking about how the cooperation between the couple, i.e. the people being photographed, and the photographer is essential.
If the couple is not a 100 percent present at the session and willing to imbue their emotions and love into the moments we wish to capture, as well as completely cooperate with the photographer (giving the best of themselves in the time spent together) then the photographs may turn out pretty well (if the photographer is skilled), but they won’t be truly exceptional, special and very meaningful for you. And that is the exact reason why you contract a photographer in the first place, to capture the significant moments and your true self in them.
Doing a 5-minute session often results in good photos, but they often show that you haven’t relaxed enough and that you haven’t let your guard down. If you want special, meaningful and creative photos, make time for at least a 30-minute session, communicate with the photographer before and during the session (when they’re directing you), give yourself completely into every moment and focus on your partner… show all your love… and the interaction with the photographer will be a cooperation in the full sense of the word.

Photo sessions such as this one depict what I’m trying to convey – complete relaxedness on both sides of the camera. I’m perfectly aware of the discomfort you have when somebody’s taking your picture: sometimes you don’t know what to do with yourself, where to look or how to act.
The photographer’s job is to provide ideas you don’t need to follow to the letter, but use it as a suggestion or guideline to play with. With more people, it’s easier to play around and see the session as a time dedicated to you and to capturing your relationship and love (paternal or romantic). If you see it that way, the number of times you don’t know how to act or where to look is significantly reduced, since you’re really only spending time with each other, with love, just as you usually do, with the photographer only providing some ideas to guide your interaction.
That’s my view, in short, of these sessions that I love doing.
